Along with the normal platform deployment which does not generally cause downtime, this also includes a number of infrastructure upgrades to improve Databricks stability. Actual service interruption for individual regions during this window is expected to take approximately 60 minutes. The following services may be impacted: - API access (including ODBC/JDBC / REST calls) - Cluster creation (including interactive clusters or clusters associated with scheduled jobs) - Starting or scheduling new jobs - UI access Note to customers with NPIP workspaces: There is a small chance that clusters could be terminated unexpectedly during this time. Clusters in non-NPIP workspaces will not be impacted, and running jobs will not be interrupted.
